Simple, straight forward dual band. Easily mounted under upper cupboards in my garage with a power supply near. I built a ribbon line line J-pole for it. Hangs from the rafters. Better SWR than the magmount I had. I can reach just about any repeater in the Windsor / Detroit area. Exactly what I wanted and very resonably priced too! ?? 73 de VE3TCS!

ANYTONE AT-778UV V2.0 is just what I needed. A dual band radio that was small. Excellent color display. and did not cost a fortune. Did not take long at all to have this programmed. the software from Anytone is basic but easy to use. I used version 778uv 3.1 vox. version 1.2 would not work for me on windoze 10. and I was absolutely delighted to see how DX Canada Packaged the radio excellent job!

I've had mine for a while now, installed in my car. I was simply not willing to pay the cost of more expensive radios and considering 25w is only down 1/2 S unit over the traditional 50w mobile radios, I decided to get one. It's a great radio, easy to use in the car and checks all the boxes for features I use, including ease of use. Well worth the paltry price asked for it, and DXCanada shipped it quickly. What more could I ask for.

Great small radio. Software could be better.
Works well, fit easily into my car due to the small size, and covers UHF up to 480MHz out of the box. The Anytone software lacks some of the features that are available on other models, such as importing and exporting channels as .csv files. However, it is compatible with Chirp, so channels can be loaded with that software and then the settings tweaked with Anytone's.

Great little radio for the shack, and the lowest price dual band radio I could find. Filled with features, great color screen, and really loud speaker. I highly recommend this radio! I also highly recommend DXCanada. Great service, fast shipping!!
