OSTAR Jumbospot is very similar to pistar hotspot. Runs very similar but much simple softwave OSTAR which is based on linux pistar. No more SDCARDS! The software is alredy flashed into ROM chip for you to use, just connect to dashboard and setup your information, your home router wifi and you are set to go!
OSTAR host files are configured from factory to operate on YSF, DSTAR and DMR but Brandmeister network only. If you want this hotspot to connect outside BRM network you need to edit configuraiton files which require SSH access and linux skills.
OSTAR doesn't require any offsets either! no more hunting for any offsets, OSTAR works with all digital radios.

Differencs in Duplex and Simplex:in Duplex mode,have 2 time slots, and Tx and Rx can do at the same time
Radio Frequency : in duplex mode,support uhf 430-440MHZ, in simplex mode support both uhf 430-440MHz and vhf 140-150MHz
Best adjusted: TX =0, RX=0，need no offset.

Difficult to set up, no instructions
Item appeared used. Multiple drop outs requiring constant rebooting , no instructions at all. Root password had been changed from factory set up and Chinese on line instructions. Difficult to set up.
