AT-D878S
This is my 3rd DMR radio. I also have a DM-5R and an MD-750. The Anytone beats them both hands-down on any measure: build quality, sound quality, ease of programming. The CPS is understandable and logical, unlike the other radio apps. Having learned this one, I can go back to the others and puzzle them out. The Pofung and TYT are going to the next flea market.

Anytone At D878s
Fast Delivery fro DXCANADA- Handheld feature same as other Anytone radio EXCEPT it is Single band delivered UHF model , perfect for DMR digital mode using HOTSPOTS for vonnection. Easy to use CPS programming software. Enjoy the price difference compared to the Anytone dual band models .

878S is a great deal if you don't need VHF
I bought the 878S as a cheaper companion to my 878UVII Plus, as--with the major exception of VHF--it has pretty much all the same features and capabilities for around half the price (actually a bit less in this case as I bought an ex-demo model with a discount). So far it works well and interoperates happily with the dual-band 878 on UHF. Setup was easy: I just updated to the latest firmware using the 878S CPS, then exported the UVII config from the 878 CPS to .csv files, imported them to the 878S CPS, removed all VHF channels and tweaked a few settings, then wrote it to the new radio. In under an hour I had a UHF-only clone of the other radio.

A Fantastic Radio
A really great radio that does both analog and digital (dmr). Works very well in both modes and has a huge amount of features. The CPS software is freely downloadable and works perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

ANYTONE D878UV PLUS DMR
So far I have only managed to build an analog VHF/UHF CODEPLUG. i am a new HAM. I was Net Control for 2 of our Emergency Communication Team Nets. I used the D878UV and received really positive comments about the quality of my Tx. Such as "What radio is that? It sounds great." "Keep that one." I plan to use the handheld for my SRD-ECT volunteer duties and for communication while ATVing. I hope to have the DMR figured out and functioning soon. The service from DX has been excellent to date. Thank you and Happy Trails -- Mike Coulter Campbell River BC
