A WIFI or LAN connection is sufficient to make contact with the rest of the Amateur Radio world.The universal design allows you to choose whether you want to use the DVMEGA or MMDVM firmware. Small but mighty
A great small (super small) hotspot. Works flawlessly. The LAN hardwired option provides a more stable (in my experience) operation - with very little "digital dropouts" and updating software or changing (rooms, reflectors, modes) your setup is much faster than wifi. Works well on wifi but I like the wired option. Only drawback is the sreen is small...but the whole unit is small so it's not an issue.
