This is a full mode shortwave QRP SSB/CW transceiver. Ultra-small size design makes it easy to carry and use. It has a 1602N LCD screen and a built-in speaker to ensure superior performance. It supports connection to a PC and uses FT8, JS8, FT4 and other digital mode software control, and supports CW automatic decoding. Great little transceiver. The menu system was a bit tricky to get used to, but after spending some time, and checking out YouTube sessions, this is a neat rig. It would be nice to have the internal battery supplied, but that's not a problem as I am using a DIY battery pack from 8 AA batteries, or 13.8 power supply. I have worked from VE9 land into VE3 land and had a good report. Havn't really had a chance to really give it a good portable review, but looking forward to that in the coming days.

I've had this little gem a little over a week, and I am somewhat amazed of how much they can cram in a small package. This unit did not come with an internal battery, but that's no problem as I've been operating it off 13.8 volts plus a small 12 volt battery pack that I made up with 10 AA batteries. It was somewhat difficult to get used to everything menu driven, but after sitting down and taking my time, the menu system is relatively easy to conquer. For a qrp portable, so far I am very pleased. In time when I have the opportunity to operate more, I willprobably increase my rating to 5 stars.
